Throughout my day, I seamlessly transition between multiple roles - analyst, software engineer, troubleshooter, trend spotter, and business communicator. This dynamic blend of responsibilities allows me to tackle complex challenges from diverse perspectives.
In 2018, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics from The Ohio State University, which marked the beginning of my career as a data scientist. Over the following years, I worked across various industries, leveraging data to uncover actionable business insights and presenting them in a way that was accessible to non-technical stakeholders. During this time, I developed a deep appreciation for software engineering, recognizing its critical role in enabling automation and deploying predictive models into production.
While there is some overlap between data science and software engineering, I realized that the latter demands a stronger foundation in computer science—a gap I was eager to fill. And this led to my decision to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology while working full time. I successfully completed the program in December 2022, equipping myself with the technical expertise needed to bridge the two disciplines effectively.
